Declared "baby sensation"

Okay, so I'm quite aware that the old school pediatrician filling in for our more granola Dr. Kelley probably tells all new parents that they have a "baby sensation" on their hands - but I'm going to mindfully ignore this and smile wide as any new parent would do. Who wouldn't want to hear such words at their daughter's 2 week checkup? In addition to her innate sensationalism, Veda also managed to gain just over a pound, and grew an additional 2 inches since her birth on the 9th.

In other news, Veda appears to have a penchant for in vivo experimentation. Yesterday she studied the age old question, what happens if I don't nap today?. She also played around with current hypotheses surrounding stress induced cortisol levels by manipulating the heart rate of both mom and dad with blood curdling 'are you seriously going to take this long changing my diaper' stress tests. The long term effects of these trials will likely warrant continued study by our young scientist.

We were just getting an update. Cora kept whispering "that's Clark's baby" in my ear.
She's really special!
