Blessed with another bright warm October day, we headed out with Calif Grandma to the dairy hills for a quick stop at a pumpkin patch. We began by trying to pose Veda next to the pumpkins, only to discover she just wouldn't lift her eyes from the ground she was sitting on. Only later, after Grandma's questioning, did we realize that was Veda's first time sitting in grass. No wonder her eyes were transfixed on the ground! Parent fail.
Since Veda has yet to master balancing on pumpkins we helped her with some poses, which frankly, I think she found a little bizarre.
We checked out the farm's little shop. As this yawn tells you, Veda seemed less than impressed at first, but later was won over by the smell of homemade cinnamon donuts and fresh apple cider. (Which Shay would have enjoyed more if the bees hadn't landed in her cider and then buzzed frenetically around her causing her to launch her donut through the air). The best part of that shop was capturing the Biscuit's cutest of grins on film.
