2 months and feelin' good.

Hard to believe it's been two months already! Life with Veda continues to bring a crazy amount of delight. Our apptitudes for figuring each other out are on the rise, and the days bring a new sense of routine and even a little predictability (for now). Veda is cooing up a storm, and rather enjoys a morning chat over coffee. She continues to smile at the brighter things in life, which included a trip to a quilt show at the Olbrich Botanical Gardens with Grandma last week. I found it quite surprising for a quilt show to be the perfect event to entertain a 7.5 week old. Like Grandpa said, quilting is in her genes. I love to shamelessly report that our little biscuit is a great sleeper, averaging 7-9 hours straight, followed by another 2-3 hours. And no need to tell us to enjoy it because we are! Very much so. Conversely, she loathes tummy time and often hangs her head in resignation or pitches a right old fit. Ah well, we all have our weaknesses.
