One month and all smiles.

With a little effort and many a bizarre muscle twitch, our little Biscuit has figured out her smiling skills.. and likely discovered the mega mojo it does on those watching her. Her first intentional smile happened on her one month birthday, just as we were packing her up to head back to Madison from grandma & grandpa's house in Blue Grass, IA. When a joke about putting a 'reserved' sticker on the youngest poodle of the house sparked some of Veda's interest, momma proceeded to up the vocal demonstrations with high pitched motherese and absurd affectations - culminating in a half grin-grin-smile cascade. Veda took great interest in the reactions she generated in her audience of four.. I'm predicting we may have a ham on our hands. Um, shocking, right?

While her first few smiles were too spontaneous to catch on film, with the help of my our friend Betsy (didn't I say she likes an audience?) we elicited a few for the records.



While this one isn't a smile, it was too cute to leave out.
